Our latest information security updates include increased secure streaming with Secure Real-Time Protocol (SRTP), robust cyber security enhancements to prevent man-in-the-middle attacks, and secured communication between operator clients and servers. The platform now includes a cybersecurity scanning tool that uses a vulnerability and exploit database to proactively identify risks in third-party libraries, ensuring systems stay updated with the latest security patches. Advanced security measures such as SRTP are highly recommended for environments such as campuses, hospitals, airports, parking lots, and safe city projects, where remote cameras are particularly vulnerable to hacking. Intellicene is extending our cybersecurity measures to ensure you’re protected no matter the environment. 

Improved User Experience
We believe modern security solutions should be as intuitive as they are powerful. To improve and enhance our customer’s user experience, we’ve added audio announcements via IP speakers, allowing users and operators to manage an area remotely with faster, more direct communication. Operators can deliver push-to-talk (PTT) or pre-recorded messages using their workstation microphones. Symphia 8.1 also allows you to mass upload effectively and immediately map all devices and sensors into your system in just a few clicks. 

For your cameras, we’re excited to launch Symphia De-warper, which provides enhanced functionality for 360 cameras bringing clearer images from fisheye cameras to operators. This tool also reduces the load on the overall system making it more efficient for decision-making investigations. Additionally, Intellicene 8.1 offers improved safe city and parking capabilities with new LPR on-the-edge integrations.

Advanced Incident Management
We know incident management is one of the most important tasks that occurs day-to-day in a security operation center. With Symphia 8.1, we expanded the customizations and tools for incident management. These new features ensure compliance, streamline incident audits, allow designated users to auto-close, and improve controls for managing security operation procedures. Most importantly, security leaders can tailor their system to meet their needs by creating custom event types and fields for their specific operations.
